Safeguarding for churches and faith groups
The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has, as part of its free webinar series, a recording of 'Managing volunteers in faith-based organisations' available. Often, and particularly with charities, it is only with the support of volunteers that services can be delivered.
The webinar is run by Suzanne Cottrell, safeguarding adults manager at SCIE and covers how to manage volunteers effectively to ensure that they operate safely and in line with safeguarding practice. She'll also talk about what to do if things go wrong.
