Practice guidance
NSAB has created a range of guidance documents to support increased awareness and understanding of safeguarding issues and best practice when working with adults at risk across our multi-agency partnership in Norfolk. We have also included some guidance from other sources.
We have been doing lots of reviewing in 2023 so most documents are recently refreshed and updated.

We also have some '7 minute' briefings (transitional safeguarding, managing racist abuse to staff from those who lack mental capacity, domestic abuse, financial safeguarding and more).
On some of our other pages, there is guidance about self-neglect and hoarding in the 'Types of abuse' section, and also guidance about raising a concern, including a checklist of the information that will be helpful to know when you make contact.
We also have some more focused guidance which comes out of Safeguarding Adult Reviews or referrals to the Safeguarding Adult Review Group - for example, we published a protocol on one to one care (August 2022):
