Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB)
Safeguarding is preventing the physical, emotional, sexual, psychological and financial abuse of adults who have care and support needs, and acting quickly when abuse is suspected. It can also include neglect, domestic violence, modern slavery, organisational or discriminatory abuse.
The Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board is the formal arrangement which brings together statutory and non-statutory organisations to actively promote effective working relationships between different organisations and professional groups to address the issue of abuse and harm. NSAB is a strategic board.
Please note we do not deal with individual safeguarding adult cases or queries
The 'report a concern' links on our website will direct you through to Norfolk County Council who take the lead on managing concerns about adults who may be at risk of, or experiencing abuse or neglect. Do not send us personal information, especially when it is someone else's.
This website is designed to support our multi-agency safeguarding adults partnership in Norfolk with a wide range of information, guidance, and useful links.
Please note when using our website search: it will only search page names, documents and new stories (some news stories will be old, so links may be broken if they are to things we have since updated). Please do use our drop down menu wherever possible to navigate to the area or item you are interested in.
