Additional learning through SAR process

Much of our learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) falls into our Norfolk thematic framework:

Learning from SARs themes: professional curiosity, information sharing, collaboration, accountability

NSAB regularly publishes guidance and briefings where multi-agency learning has been identified, which you can find in our main practice guidance and documents pages.

In November 2023 our Deputy Manager presented an overview of some of these learning themes from SARs which was recorded by the Integrated Care Board - you can watch this here: Safeguarding in Norfolk - lessons from SARs / DHRs

However, the Safeguarding Adults Review Group (SARG) can also identify more specific learning from referrals that don't meet the criteria for a full SAR. We will share this type of learning here.
