Parliamentary question on older adults & domestic abuse
On Tuesday next week Baroness Gale (Labour), is scheduled to ask a question in the House of Lords on ensuring that older people are aware that domestic abuse can include:
- physical abuse
- domestic violence
- sexual abuse
- psychological or emotional abuse
- financial abuse
- neglect and coercive control
and are informed about the sources of information and support available to those suffering such abuse.
