Lockdown & scams: message from Norfolk Against Scams Partnership
We are now entering another period of lockdown and everyone need to be alert to new and reinvented scams during this period.
The Norfolk Against Scams Partnership (NASP) wants to remind all partners of the following: Norfolk Trading Standards will continue to issue alerts and post messages via social media of any scams or information we receive. You can report scams to Norfolk Trading Standards via our partners, the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
NSAP are currently working on a anti-scamming social media campaign similar to the one in May. Details will be shared once they are finalised. The NASP Business Group have set up a group on LinkedIn to connect with colleagues and businesses. Please join the group as this is another platform we can raise awareness of scams, doorstep crime and fraud.
NASP is a partnership of organisations committed to taking a stand against scams. The partnership’s ambition is to make Norfolk a scam free county.
