Independent review of the Modern Slavery Act: final report
In July 2018, the Home Secretary, at the request of the Prime Minister, announced an independent review of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to be conducted by Frank Field MP (chair), Maria Miller MP and Baroness Butler-Sloss.
The final report and recommendations of the independent review have now been published. The report makes 79 recommendations covering the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, transparency in supply chains, Independent Child Trafficking Advocates (ICTAs) and the legal application of the Act.
