The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) have published a NEW quick guide – Helping to prevent winter deaths.

For vulnerable people, living in a cold home increases the chance of serious illness or death. This new guide explains how simple preventative actions can help to save people’s lives. Care home managers and staff can play an important role in preventing harm that is caused by a lack of heating.
