UEA Research Project 'What do we know about gangs, drugs, violence and vulnerable young people and adults in Norfolk?'

Can you help Dr Penny Sorenson from the University of East Anglia (UEA) with a research study investigating criminal exploitation of young people and vulnerable adults in Norfolk. Dr Sorenson is looking for participants to help with focus group as part of a research study called 'What do we know about gangs, drugs, violence and vulnerable young people and adults in Norfolk?' This study as has been funded by Norfolk Constabulary and is part of the Early Intervention Youth Fund Monitoring and Evaluation Group work.

Jane Dodsworth and Penny Sorensen will be talking to young people and vulnerable adults who have experience of being approached by or involved in gangs and drugs.

With the help of Norfolk Constabulary, they will interview residents in known ‘hot spots’. They also want to speak to professionals about their awareness of criminal exploitation and the support available when working with children and vulnerable adults to prevent and/or protect those exposed or involved in activities related to criminal exploitation.

If you can help Dr Sorensen please email her at [email protected]
