The hotel chain that trains staff to spot human trafficking
The Marriott hotel chain has introduced mandatory training in almost 7,000 of their hotels to help staff look out for warning signs of human trafficking.
Some of the indicators that staff are being asked to look out for are: minimal luggage/clothing, guests who insist on little or no housekeeping and individuals who are unable to speak freely or seem disorientated. If there are several indicators that arouse suspicion, staff are asked to report it to their managers. Read more here
