Free workshop on safeguarding adults from exploitation
Further dates have been announced for the Safeguarding Adults from Exploitation, face-to-face workshop. This is a half day event which is totally free of charge for all participants.
The course focuses on the types of adult exploitation; how adults can be forced or enticed into criminal activities through manipulation, or threats of violence; vulnerabilities to exploitation; how exploitation is sustained by the abuser(s), and the signs which will alert practitioners to the risk of a person being exploited.
