Modern slavery and victim support: update on House of Commons debate

During the House of Commons debate this week (Wednesday 27 March) on modern slavery and victim support, there were cross-party calls for the Government to allocate time to Lord McColl’s Private Member’s Bill. This would amend the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and create a statutory requirement to provide victims of modern slavery with a certain level of support once they are identified.
