Coronavirus: service update from the Alzheimer's Society

The Alzheimer’s Society are continuing to provide support, advice and information to people affected by dementia during the fast changing and evolving response to the Coronavirus. They have suspended home/face to face visits and groups but are still very much providing support via the telephone and other electronic means.

The Norfolk helpline number is 01603 763 556. The line is staffed by experienced Dementia Support Workers Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Dementia Support Workers offer information and practical guidance to help people understand the condition, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. This number is there for anyone affected by dementia and can be used by professionals to make referrals on someone’s behalf.

Please see below for the Alzheimer's Society referral form, which gives the different ways that referrals can be made. Those with an NHS email can put [Secure] in the subject line to send a secure email.
