Report a concern

How do you report a scam?

The reporting of scams is really important as it builds up a picture of the current threats and helps protect others.

The Citizens Advice Helpline has an online reporting facility, which can also be used to obtain advice. All scams reported via the helpline are forwarded to Trading Standards. To report online go to www.citizensadvice.org.uk or call 0345 404 0506.

If you feel the victim might need some help or advice re scams, then include their details and make them aware of what you are doing.

You can sign up for scam alerts from Norfolk County Council at www.norfolk.gov.uk (search “scams”). Please pass on this information to anyone in Norfolk who you feel may be risk of a scam and encourage others to sign up to this alert.
