Online harms White Paper: consultation
The Online Harms White Paper sets out the government’s plans for a package of online safety measures. The White Paper includes legislative and non-legislative measures and will make companies more responsible for their users’ safety online, especially children and other vulnerable groups.
Section 2 sets out the scope of harm covered by the White Paper, including modern slavery and hate crime.
This is a public consultation. The government has said it particularly wishes to encourage responses from organisations, companies and others with relevant views, insights or evidence.
The consultation closes at 23:59, 1 July 2019.
