Natwest's Community Bankers helping deliver scams awareness training

Earlier this year, Age UK Norfolk welcomed Natwest Community Banker, Helen Barwick, to their Volunteers Network meeting to present to the Age UK Norfolk Advocacy and Money Matters team.

Helen gave a very informative presentation on Current scams: what to watch out for and how to avoid them. Age UK Norfolk’s volunteers are now using this information to identify and hopefully prevent their service users becoming victims of scams.

Advocacy and Money Matters are part of Age UK Norfolk’s wider Information and Advice Service. The aim is to provide personal administrative support (Money Matters) or support to deal with an issue or problem (Advocacy) to older people in their own homes or in a residential care home setting throughout Norfolk.
