Named GP for Safeguarding Adults – The NHS Norfolk & Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group

An opportunity has arisen to join an organisation that really does make a difference for people, help improve health services within our area and work with inspirational and professional people. The CCG is committed to commissioning services that ensure people in Norfolk and Waveney are safeguarded from abuse and neglect. We commission healthcare services for a population of around 1.1 million people in Norfolk and Waveney and work closely with our partners in health and care services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the well-established NHS Norfolk & Waveney CCG Safeguarding Adults Team and to shape the role locally. There is significant expertise in the Safeguarding Adults Team to support a GP who has a passion for this diverse area of practice to advance their knowledge and professional practice. The primary role of the Named GP will be to support primary care colleagues to meet their statutory duties and as part of the Safeguarding Adults Team provide specialist advice on individual cases of concern. The Safeguarding Children's Team has a Named GP in post and this post holder will also be invaluable support to the successful candidate. For full details and application click here.
