James Paget's safeguarding conference: Friday 11 October
The James Paget University Hospital will be holding its annual safeguarding conference on Friday 11th October 2019. Guest speakers include:
Bal Howard – Bal has been advocating on the issues of BME women and men on domestic violence, honour based crimes (Forced Marriage & Female Genital Mutilation) and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) since 2008.
Bev Alden from Public Health at Norfolk County Council will be talking about county lines and violence reduction in the Eastern region.
Abigail McGarry from Norfolk Safeguarding Children’s Board, Board Manager will be talking about Serious Case Reviews (SCRs) locally.
There will also be workshops on different safeguarding topics. Cost (including a delicious lunch) is: £50 per person (medical staff) or £30 per person (all other delegates).
