Government response to HASC report on domestic abuse

The Government has published (Thursday 9 May) its response to the Home Affairs Select Committee (HASC) report on domestic abuse.

It was positive to see that the Government recognises that growing up in a household with domestic abuse can have a detrimental impact on children, which lasts into adulthood. The response outlined a number of measures that are due to be considered in the draft Domestic Abuse Bill.
