FREE problem gambling webinars

GamCare are offering FREE, two-hour interactive webinars on Zoom to anyone who would like to learn more about problem gambling and how it affects women. GamCare also have a new women and young people training coming up on 16 September, co-hosted by Polly Johnson (Women’s Programme Outreach Officer – East of England) and their Youth Outreach Officer.

Click here to book your place for any of GamCare events, then access the session using Zoom on a laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Feedback these sessions so far has been very good.

GamCare can also offer bespoke Zoom or MS Teams sessions to groups of staff or volunteers from a single organisation – focusing solely on women, or on women and young people. Please contact Polly to book a date for some free, online CPD for your team. All sessions bring a certificate of attendance.

Harmful gambling is increasingly cited as a public health issue which requires a broad response; that is to say, traditional approaches that focus on single interventions do not tend to work at a population level.
