Final SALLY Seminar
The final Safeguarding Adults and Legal Literacy’ or ‘SALLY’ seminar is on The Future Direction of Adult Safeguarding: Outcomes of Making, Interpreting and Learning Law.

The series is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and investigates the impact of the Care Act 2014. The theme for the final seminar is 'Reflections and looking forward,’ with three core elements; (1) A review of making, interpreting and learning the new law; (2) where gaps in knowledge remain; (3) and looking to the future.
These seminars bring together researchers, educators, students, practitioners, policy-makers, service users and carers to consider how the Care Act 2014 has been made, how it is being and should be interpreted and how different stakeholders can learn about its provisions.
The central ethos of the series is promoting and encouraging links and collaboration between individuals and organisations concerned with adult safeguarding, cutting across disciplinary boundaries and organisational structures and connecting research, policy, practice and service user communities.
