DBS: List of offences that will never be filtered from a DBS certificate

The list of offences which will never be filtered from a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check/certificate has been updated. To help with accessibility the list is available in three different formats .

The DBS was established in 2012 and carries out the functions previously undertaken by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

The DBS help to prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children.
