County lines: posters for social housing staff

The Home Office has produced a series of posters to social housing staff on county lines. These posters have been designed to help staff who work in social housing identify victims and report concerns to protect those exploited through this criminal activity.

County lines is a major, cross-cutting issue involving drugs, violence, gangs, safeguarding, criminal and sexual exploitation, modern slavery, and missing persons; and the response to tackle it involves the police, the National Crime Agency, a wide range of Government departments, local government agencies and VCS (voluntary and community sector) organisations.

Valuable guidance for frontline professionals on dealing with county lines was published in September 2018. It outlines what county lines (and associated criminal exploitation) is, signs to look for in potential victims, and what to do about it. It does not provide information about the entirety of the county lines issue.
