Consultation on Greater Norwich homelessness strategy 2020-25

This draft strategy marks the fourth occasion that Broadland, Norwich City and South Norfolk Councils have worked together with local partners to develop a homelessness plan for the Greater Norwich area.

Greater Norwich is a place where agencies work together to support people who are, or may become homeless. By putting people at the heart of service delivery it can create a wrap-around offer that helps people take control of their own circumstances earlier. Stopping them from becoming homeless will be the main aim. This will provide people with a firm platform where their health and wellbeing, employment or training opportunities are either maintained or improved.

This consultation is intended to give residents, stakeholders and partners the opportunity to participate in the development of the new homelessness strategy by:

  • commenting on the evidence presented in the document
  • identifying any further evidence that would improve it
  • identify any gaps in current homelessness services that the new strategy can address.

Please note this strategy is separate from the rough sleeping strategy.
