While staff and volunteers for the Citizens Advice Family Court Domestic Abuse Service have had to withdraw from delivering face-to-face support at Norwich Combined court at this time due to COVID-19, they are continuing to deliver the service via phone, explaining what will happen at the hearing and addressing questions and concerns.
Advance referral to the service has always been important, but even more so now hearings are being dealt with remotely. Without an advance referral, victims of domestic abuse who would benefit from the service will miss out on support from this service.
How to refer into the service?
By phoning Citizens Advice national Referral Hub (especially if the hearing is within 3 days)
