Wellbeing after coercive control - survivor research workshop June 30th
Join a survivor research workshop on wellbeing and support after coercive control
YOUR VOICE WILL HELP US LEARN WHAT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE, SO THAT FUTURE SUPPORT IS SHAPED BY SURVIVORS, FOR SURVIVORS.
As part of a King's College London research project, adults (18+) living in England with lived experience of coercive control in an intimate relationship are invited to take part in a one-day survivor workshop. This will be in Norwich on the 30th June from 10am – 4pm.
"The workshops are part of an NIHR-funded research project exploring how survivors look after their wellbeing and what kinds of support have helped—or hindered—them. Together, we’ll reflect on what really makes a difference, so that future support is shaped by survivors, for survivors.
"The workshops will be in person, each with 8–12 participants. Alongside open discussion, we’ll use light creative and artistic activities (no experience needed) to explore ideas and express experiences in different ways.
"You’ll receive £150 remuneration for your time and travel expenses will be covered in addition to this.
"We are especially interested in hearing about:
- What kinds of support have been most helpful
- What hasn’t worked or has been missing
- What changes could improve support for others in the future"
