Violence against women and girls: a call for evidence

The horrific kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard has stirred something within the minds of many of us.  Women everywhere are voicing their anxieties and anger about staying safe, and sharing stories on social media about what has happened to them.

A call for evidence has been reopened to reflect the recent public discussion about violence against women and girls and to provide an additional opportunity to feed into the consultation.

Views are sought from people who may feel under represented in previous strategies or who feel that their circumstances were not supported by existing services.

In addition to those with lived experience of these issues, views of those with expertise in working with victims and survivors are also sought.
