Seeking the views of relatives with loved ones in care during COVID-19

Healthwatch Norfolk and Norfolk County Council are running a short survey to seeking the views of relatives with loved ones in care during COVID-19.

Dealing with the risk of COVID-19 has been stressful for both care home residents and their families, and across the country, people are paying respect to residents and staff that tragically lost their lives to the virus. Consequently, many new measures have been introduced in nursing and residential homes to minimise risk and save lives.

If a friend or relative of yours has spent time in a care home during the pandemic, Healthwatch and Norfolk County Council want to know how you have coped with the changes to understand what worked well and what could have been improved.

Feedback will be collected anonymously and presented to Norfolk County Council, who want to learn by listening to the public so that care homes can be safer, more resilient, and communicate better with families in the future.

Please share with your networks, thank you.
