SCIE adds new website pages on The Office of the Public Guardian
The Social Care Institute of Excellence (SCIE) has updated its website with new pages on The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) and the Mental Capacity Act. The new pages give more information on:
- The Office of the Public Guardian
- Lasting power of attorney
- Court-appointed deputies
There is also more details about concerns which can be investigated by the OPG. The OPG helps people in England and Wales plan for their health, welfare and financial decisions to be taken care of if they lose capacity to make certain decisions for themselves.
