Scams Prevention Service (SPS)

To coincide with National Scams Awareness campaign are you aware of Norfolk's Scam Prevention Service?

SPS is a project operated by Norfolk Constabulary and hosted by Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care (NSVC). The service provides a joined up, multi-agency response to the needs of vulnerable victims of scams in Norfolk.

The aim of the service is not to investigate but to prevent vulnerable victims from being re-victimised by further targeting and raising awareness of scams in Norfolk so that less of the population become victims of scam.

SPS can arrange for a trained police volunteer to visit at home and talk through what has happened, offer support and help to ensure that it never happens again. We can provide advocacy, practical advice and information to develop confidence and safety, and we can offer follow-up support to help to cope and recover.

To contact SPS please dial 101 (extension 5005), call NSVC on (0300 303 3706)  or you could email [email protected]
