Report a concern

Our annual report has been published!

We’re pleased to have published our annual report for 2021/2022.  The report contains the main areas specified in the Care Act, including highlighting the Safeguarding Adults Review into the harrowing deaths of Joanna, Jon and Ben, published in September 2021.   These three young people had physical health needs and either learning disabilities, mental health issues or both.  They were all resident at Cawston Park, a private hospital in Norfolk (which has now closed.)

Our report also gave us the opportunity to talk about the success of the Tricky Friends animation, the growth of the Locality Safeguarding Adult Partnerships, our new website and increasing use of social media to engage with people who are interested in the work of the board, and adult safeguarding more generally.

We have contributions from our 3 key partners, looking back at the year and considering operational practice under the 3 pillars of our strategy, as well as recognition of the continued impact of the pandemic conditions.

There are facts and figures too, of course, and overall we hope this report gives you a good flavour of the strong work Norfolk continues to progress safeguarding adults in our county.

Please do take a look at our report here.
