NSAB published 7 minute briefing on domestic abuse
The Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board today publishes a 7 Minute Briefing on domestic abuse. The idea behind the 7 minute briefings is to support our network partners in their safeguarding work with clear information and guidance.
To help this we have just added a ‘7 minute briefing’ on domestic abuse to our website.
The 7 minute briefing is a technique borrowed from the FBI. Learning for 7 minutes is manageable in most services and makes information simple to remember. The short briefings hold people’s attention, as well as giving managers something to share with their staff. Clearly the briefings won’t have all the answers, but it is hoped that they will act as a catalyst to help teams and managers reflect on their practice and systems.
