NSAB COVID-19 Response and Resilience Plan published
As Norfolk comes out of the second lockdown and into Tier 2, today the Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB) has published its Covid-19 Response and Resilience Plan.
The current global Covid-19 pandemic is unprecedented in living memory and the impact for individuals, families, communities and wider society is significant and will be long lasting. It has touched every part of our lives. This plan has been developed with the support of key statutory partners and sets out NSAB’s response to the ‘changed’ safeguarding adults landscape.
The plan is structured into response/resilience themes and is in two parts. First, themes identified for Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB), where we might expect changing or increased needs. Second, themes which NSAB will support other boards/partners with.
It is vital that NSAB understands and responds to this ‘changed’ safeguarding landscape and in particular identifies what has worked well during the pandemic. Are there elements of practice that should be maintained going forward and if so, how will these now be integrated into practice?
At the end of the document there are four trigger questions to be answered. Please copy and paste these into an email and send in your responses to [email protected]
