Not Alone This Christmas - send an e-card

A partnership of the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, local mental health charity, Norfolk and Waveney Mind, and the county’s NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), and Norfolk County Council have launched a mental health campaign for the festive season encouraging people to reach out to those who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious and struggling with their mental health over the Christmas and new year period.

Christmas is often a difficult time of year for people and, with measures in place to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we may not be able to do the things we normally do and to be with friends and family.

The campaign offers support and advice, via an e-card which people can send to loved ones who they may be worried about. The card reminds them that they have a friend, as well as signposting them to a range of services that can give them some extra help and support should they need it.

A paper version of the card will also be free in next Friday’s edition of the EDP and Evening News.

You can find out more here and send an e-card to someone today.
