'No cold calling' zones
Last week saw the 15th anniversary of the launch of Norfolk's first No cold calling zone which covered 51 properties in East Harling. Since that time, Norfolk Trading Standards has supported a further 292 communities - that's 13,394 properties - to create more No cold calling zones.
The zones are designated areas where residents declare that they will no longer accept traders calling at their homes without an appointment. They're designed to be a deterrent to unscrupulous traders and bogus callers.
