New reading project
Norfolk Libraries are piloting a new project: At Home with Library Reading Friends, for people with an early diagnosis of dementia, and their carers. All that is needed is a phone.
One of the library staff will call once a week, for four weeks, for a friendly chat for up to 30 minutes and will read from books, magazines or newspapers, depending on the person's interests.
