National week of action on modern slavery, child trafficking and exploitation

The National Crime Agency (NCA) has been working with partners to increase operational activity on key forms of modern slavery and human trafficking.

The next week of action will take place in mid-June, with a focus on the exploitation of non-UK national under-18s year olds who have been trafficked to and within the UK.

All partners have a vital role to play in addressing child trafficking and exploitation, and the NCA is encouraging them to work with relevant partnerships and local police leads during the week of action to identify opportunities for collaboration and multi-agency working.

To support this work, the Home Office has recently produced a toolkit on disrupting child exploitation. If you would like any further information or to speak directly to the NCA, please contact [email protected]
