Making Safeguarding Personal - resources
Research in Practice (RiP) are working with the Local Government Association (LGA) to provide online learning support for the implementation of Making Safeguarding Personal. The support will provide an overview of a number of new resources in this area of practice including:
- The Making Safeguarding Personal toolkit (revised)
- Myths and realities of Making Safeguarding Personal
- Making Safeguarding Personal case studies and podcasts
RiP are consulting with Principal Social Workers, Safeguarding Adult Board Managers, Association of Directors of Adult Social Services safeguarding adults policy leads and other networks to understand what would support people to use these resources, to ensure the programme of support meets the needs of practice.
This programme of work is intended to support the requirement in the Winter Plan (Adult social care: our COVID-19 winter plan 2020 to 2021) to ensure high quality practice in this area. You can take part in this consultation by completing this survey which will be open until 30th November. For further enquiries please contact CHIP@local.gov.uk
