Ketamine awareness campaign
The Norfolk Drug and Alcohol Partnership (NDAP) and Norfolk public health have launched a countywide campaign to raise awareness of ketamine.
Developed with key stakeholders and students at the Media Learning Company City College Norwich, the campaign aims to improve understanding of the risks associated with ketamine use.
Research shows around 5,800 people in Norfolk may use ketamine each year. It is reported as a problem substance by 5% of people in treatment locally - higher than the national average - and is increasingly linked to ambulance call-outs. Young people have also highlighted the need for more information about its dangers and the risks of contaminated drugs.
Overall, the campaign seeks to increase knowledge and awareness of ketamine related harms.

- Promote the dedicated Ketamine Hub on the Norfolk Community Safety Partnership exploitation website
