Job scams campaign

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has today launched a campaign to raise awareness of job scams and employment fraud.  They are working alongside JobsAware, Disclosure Scotland and AccessNI. Their aim is to help enable job seekers to recognise potential scams and also know how to report them.

The DBS say that job scams have been particularly prevalent through the pandemic with three in four job seekers applying for jobs that were not genuine - this is quite staggering.
