£35,697- £39,780 per annum (Scale K)
37 hours per week | Permanent contract

An opportunity has arisen to join the county’s Adults Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Adults Practice Consultant (SAPC). The role requires you to undertake Section 42 enquiries as detailed in the Care Act 2014. There will be a requirement to cover the Eastern locality, alongside supporting workload demands across the whole team.

You will need to be passionate about Adult Safeguarding and able to work autonomously in a challenging environment. There are opportunities to be involved in the development of this area of social work and for you to undertake supervisory roles, such as direct observations for newly qualified staff, alongside providing advice and support to all grades of staff. You will also case hold complex Adult Safeguarding cases.

While this role is challenging, it is also rewarding and provides an opportunity to be involved in one of the most exciting areas of social work.
