James Paget's safeguarding conference: Friday 11 October
The James Paget University Hospital will be holding its annual safeguarding conference on Friday 11th October 2019. Guest speakers include:
- Bal Howard – Bal has been advocating on the issues of BME women and men on domestic violence, honour based crimes (Forced Marriage & Female Genital Mutilation) and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) since 2008.
- Bev Alden from Public Health at Norfolk County Council will be talking about county lines and violence reduction in the Eastern region.
- Abigail McGarry from Norfolk Safeguarding Children’s Board, Board Manager will be talking about Serious Case Reviews (SCRs) locally.
There will also be workshops on different safeguarding topics. Cost (including a delicious lunch) is: £50 per person (medical staff) or £30 per person (all other delegates).
