Hidden Harms Summit
The Hidden Harms Summit was hosted by the Prime Minister, last Thursday (21 May), and involved three breakout sessions covering issues including domestic abuse, child sexual exploitation/abuse and modern slavery.
There were a number of announcements surrounding the summit, including work on a codeword scheme which will allow domestic abuse victims in urgent or immediate danger to get help from shop workers by using a specific phrase that staff will be trained to identify.
