Hate crimes figures for 2018/19
The Home Office have published statistics on hate crimes recorded by the police and information on hate crime from the Crime Survey for England and Wales for 2018/19.
The figures show the number of hate crimes recorded by the police having more than doubled since 2012/13 (from 42,255 to 103,379 offences).
The bulletin covers the extent and trends in hate crime for all forces, with additional analysis based upon more detailed data supplied by 26 police forces on the types of offences associated with hate crime.
