Free seminar on Covid its impact on adult safeguarding
Practitioners working in adult safeguarding may be interested to attend a free online seminar titled Covid19 and Adult Safeguarding: Findings from Research, which is taking place on Friday 19 November.
A 12 month research projected, funded by Keele University and The Health Foundation, looked at how Covid has impacted adult safeguarding. The research also looked into how it had impacted the law and practice around adult safeguarding as well as looking at how the pandemic, and responses to it, can help shape adult safeguarding in the future.
The course is being run by Dr Laura Pritchard-Jones, Dr Mark Eccleston-Turner, Prof Alison Brammer and Monique Mehmi.
