Free NSAB webinar on predatory marriage
We are pleased to announce that Daphne Franks will be in conversation with NSAB on Wednesday 4 May. Daphne's mother, Joan Blass was 91 with severe dementia and terminal cancer. Following her death in 2016, Daphne found that Joan's much younger male friend had married her mother secretly. Becoming her legal husband, he was able to control Joan's funeral and inherit her whole estate.
Daphne is campaigning to change the law to prevent predatory marriage happening again.
