Domestic abuse and homelessness
According to a report by Crisis and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ending Homelessness, nearly 2,000 domestic abuse survivors are at risk of homelessness. The report said that under local authority rules some victims are not given priority need. Crisis are calling on the Government to amend the Domestic Abuse Bill and extend priority need status to all victims who are homeless because of domestic abuse.
