Deprivation of liberty standards (DoLS): consultation response - April 2018

The Department of Health and Social Care has published an updated response (3 April 2018) to the Law Commission's consultation on how the law should regulate deprivations of liberty (DoLS) for people who lack capacity to consent to their care and treatment arrangements. It sets out the government’s provisional view of each individual proposal and mostly agrees with the DoLS model.
