Covid deaths of employees in social care sector
Michelle Dyson, who is director general for adult social care at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has written to all local authorities and social care providers, asking employers to tell the DHSC about the deaths from Covid of any workers, regardless of their roles, and including volunteers too.
The DHSC wants to do all that it can to ensure that employers, families and the people who they cared for are given the support that they need.
