Charity reports increase in sexual exploitation cases
The number of reports of sexual exploitation have increased by 15% over the past year, according to new figures on the state of modern slavery in the UK. There is concern that the situation in Ukraine will make matters worse as vulnerable women and children refugees are preyed upon by traffickers.
The figures are part of the Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline Annual Assessment.
The helpline is run by the anti-slavery charity Unseen, and you can read more about the report here on their website
